A&M-Commerce opens new Jimmy John’s store in NHS building

Commerce, Texas – A new Jimmy John’s store is set to open on the Texas A&M University-Commerce campus. The location will replace the Sandella’s Sandwich Shop in the Nursing and Health Pavilion.

It will be a full service location honoring gift cards, national promotions and more. A&M-Commerce students will be able to use their FLEX Money for in-person purchases.

Jimmy John’s will also offer delivery services to the main campus and to a designated Commerce City radius to be announced at a later date. Mobile ordering will be an available feature, but FLEX cash will not be available for deliveries or mobile ordering at launch.

Charles Lear, Regional Managing Director of Sodexo, said the A&M-Commerce administration has been instrumental in bringing sought-after brands to A&M-Commerce.

“Together, the university and Sodexo are working diligently to bring national brands and other offerings our Lion community desires,” Lear said. “We are so fortunate to have an administration that is always looking at every angle to improve campus life for our students, faculty and staff as well as our community.”

Jimmy John’s new location is expected to open by the start of the upcoming fall semester.
