Dothan Region Chamber of Commerce to Bring New Business to Dothan
DOTHAN, Alabama (WTVY) – The Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking the city’s help in attracting a new retailer to the Circle City. The chamber wants to bring Simply 10, a women’s fashion brand to Dothan.
They would do so with the help of the city’s business incentive program which aims to support redevelopment and invest to revitalize Dothan. The new store would go into the mall with Dirt Cheap off Ross Clark Circle. It is a shopping center that was once anchored by the Kmart on the south side.
Matt Parker, President of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, said, “This is a new construction focused project, so it will bring a good 6,000 square foot facility to the community, generate sales taxes and opportunities and will really improve this area with this project. . “
The chamber has already completed a similar revitalization project with Hangar 38. The difference, this will be built from scratch.
Simply 10 sells clothing and accessories for women.
