Warren County woman, 33, accused of selling Xanax, prosecutor says

A 33-year-old woman has been charged with selling Xanax in Warren County, authorities said on Tuesday.

Heather L. Hadgkiss, of Willow Grove Street in Hackettstown, was arrested Monday following a four-week investigation by the Warren County Attorney’s Office Narcotics Task Force, said Prosecutor James L . Pfeiffer.

Hadgkiss was charged with two counts each of distributing third degree CDS, third degree possession with intent to distribute CDS and distributing second degree CDS within 500 feet of a public park, said Pfeiffer.

Third degree offenses carry a penalty of up to five years in state prison, while second degree offenses carry a penalty of up to 10 years.

Hadgkiss was previously charged with several offenses of possession, distribution and conspiracy of heroin and cocaine, as well as possession of methadone and tampering with evidence, following a March raid in Hackettstown.

Hadgkiss was being held at the Warren County Correctional Center awaiting a court hearing.
